Warning! - TalkTalk are still incompetent!

If anybody is thinking of moving to TalkTalk my experience of the move should show that they are still just as incompetent as always.

TalkTalk business broadband and phone package was ordered, and a go-live date was given as 31st May. The 31st came, my old BT Total Broadband (which we have had without fault for 6 years) was removed from the line and I believe the phone was transferred. However all broadband connections were removed. After numerous phone calls we were told that the go-live date was, instead, to be today, 6th June. I phoned to confirm this and was told in no uncertain terms that the service will in fact be activated on 13th June.

That means two weeks without broadband, not a single offer of compensation, and all compounded by amazingly poor communication.

If anybody relies on broadband then choose another provider. TalkTalk really aren

TalkTalk may well be incompetant but no business that needs essential communications to operate would rely on just one provider these days. It may be slightly more expensive to have two lines from different companies, but compared to the sort of damage to a business that could happen if all your communications systems go down together, it is good insurance.
