TT BB and Windows ME

Trying to help a friend here.

She has signed up for TT BB, they have sent her a USB modem and an installation CD - trouble is the software won't install to WinME.

I can loan her a USR USB ADSL modem that will install on her PC to get connected but need to know what to put in as the phone number in the connectoid and any other parameters I might need...DNS settings etc. She has a username and password.

Once she is connected she can ask for help directly - perhaps get the modem swapped for a router ?

I have to go see her tomorrow at 6 pm so need some help before then.

If she has been sent the Huawei MT882 router with USB port, this needs a driver. TT should be able to send out a CD with earlier drivers on it for Win 98/ ME.

It is not necessary to install any software to use the ethernet port on that router.

All details for configuring router are on the TT web site together with drivers for other supported USB modems.
