Anyone know how to get an SNRM changed on talktalk?, tried phoning up the technical support but ended up hanging up mid call after wasting 15mins trying to explain to their support what an SNRM actually is.
Nor could they understand the probable reasoning behind the profile being set so high was that My Nan turns off the power off when she's finished (causing the router to be powered down and thus them registering a disconnection) Seemed to try explaining to me that powering of the router would cause a disconnection... (Yes that's what I was telling them, i.e ingore any disconnection counters its becuase we turn the router off!)
I was trying to get my Nans connection some more speed since her SNR profile is set a very high 16db and the most i've seen it flutuate is 1.5db
They wouldn't transfer me to teir 2 becuase they didn't understand what the issue was.
I'm not going to be here long enough to call them again.
Router is a 2wire 2700HG I used to replace the smart MX modem she had.
