TT and Colwyn Bay "not possible"

My exchange is Colwyn Bay central, TT currently list this as:
"Unfortunately it is currently not possible to add new customers to this exchange. TalkTalk will update us when more information is available."

Did they only have limited lines?
Anyone on TT at this exchange car to share their experiences?
What speed would I expect to see on LLU given a 48db attn?

TT (& only TT) have LLU there, so must have shortage of connections.

Hope for nearly 6 Meg Sync.

I get 4.5k on ADSL max, from what I know of TT I think Im better off where I am anyway!

Right! On ADSL2+ your attn. will go up about 3 dB and your Sync will be about the same as now.

The kitz estimator reckons about 5.5k @48db, why would my attenuation go upa few db on LLU?

Oh, some technical reason I'm sure others can advise. Something to do with the extra frequencies used by ADSL2+.

The cost of the BB with TT would be a bit less I suppose, but I think I would rather pay more and carry on with ADSL24. Main reason being I can phone up and get straight through to someone who talks sense if I have a problem
AFAIK talktalk are all overseas and support is useless should you have an issue.
