Ah! that link is different, but I don't see any link to it.

Ah, I've solved it. I do have a Tiscali dial-up account & email, but I was not logged in. However, it remembered through talktalk cookies. Once I deleted these, your 1st link led me to the page
Help us get you to the right place

As you may have heard TalkTalk Group recently bought Tiscali, in order to get you to the right page we need to know a little more about you.

To help us get you to the right place, please select from the below options.
  • I originally signed up with TalkTalk
  • I originally signed up with Tiscali
  • I am a TV Customer
  • I am not a Customer
The middle 2 lead to the Tiscali T&Cs while the outside 2 lead to the TT T&C's.

It's all done by cookies grin

Hi Guys.

It does not matter as you have 30 days to leave Talk Talk. The terms and conditions are wrong and outdated.

They may very well be, but they are all you have!

A Forum post has no legal validity and is non-contractual.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU BB => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU BB

Yes i see where you are coming from but the post is by an OCE. Can't see why they would have it wrong. They are usually very reliable.

the managing director themselves could post on a forum, but in the end you're bound by the terms and conditions of the contract you signed, nothing more and nothing less.

Normally, an acceptable price increase, eg, in line with inflation and/or material costs, does not constitute a "material change" to any contract. Therefore, you have no "get out of jail free" card.
TT's contracts may be different but I would doubt that except perhaps where special deals were in force.

Going back to the parents for a bit who are on virgin.

They've just increased the line rental by 91p, so you can't win! frown
