Transfer

Hi Trying to move from Now tv Fibre broadband to TTB Fibre.TTB say they cannot move me to their service because its a Sky line.I only moved from BT to Now tv 20 days ago.Leaving because Internet is rubbish as is c/s.Can anyone advise please.Thanks

No reason why full LLU cannot move to another full LLU provider.

Perhaps TT cs is rubbish too

Just seen this post on Sky Chat forum. (Which provider are you attempting to switch to? If you are on Sky LLU, then you will have to go back to BT on a return to donor. It's free, but requring a 12m lne rental contract. You can't switch direct to another LLU service.
You should be able to take your number with you on this basis).

I am confused why you are asking yourself the question of who you are switching to?

In terms of having to go back to BT, that is false, you can switch LLU to LLU, people do it all the time.

It would appear that customer services on your intended ISP isn't up to the job. Hopefully the rest of their service performs considerably better.

That's a post on the MSE forum from over 6 years ago. Mind you, LLU to LLU migrations were possible back then too, as you might have read from the post after the one you quoted.

If the providers you are choosing cannot do a simple migration, does that fill you with much hope? It is possible, there should be no issues.

No its Toople but i rang TTB directly to double check and they also said i would need a new line.Strange

I was thinking of moving to TTB and had the same issue, TTB won't migrate from Sky - but TT residential will - I tried getting them to justify the difference from the same company but they just won't migrate Sky.

Toople connecting me to BT and then onto TTB.Thanks for clever comments above about getting a decent ISP.

Just out of interest what are Toople's early termination charges(24 months is a long time), think they are a £125 flat fee for TalkTalk Business during the second year.

Only signing up for 12 months,managed to get a great offer. Having to move to BT Adsl and then onto Fibre with TTB Toople arranging all this .Fingers crossed it works out ok.All the messages above to get a decent isp where very helpful not

What sort of monthly cost did they offer you(if I'm not being too nosey)?

Not wanting to ignore your post but enough to say they will move on price.Just ask.
