Does anyone know how to force a new IP address on the TalkTalk WiFi Hub? I'm on VDSL so the IP's are a bit more sticky as opposed to ADSL. I know on the older HG633 you could change a setting (PPPoA / PPPoE) and then change it back again and it'd force a new IP address but I can't find any such function on the new Sagem built router.
I was playing a P2P game yesterday and I can only assume one of the people didn't like my play style. About 40 seconds after I killed him (you only get one life) my internet went off but was still connected as occasionally a ping to 8.8.8.8 would get through. I reckon the person I killed somehow got my IP and launched a DoS attack.
Ever since my connection ping has been all over the place so I'm looking to change IP in case he's still sore and still attacking
