Going Wireless need Help

[link to this post]

Hi I am new to this board so this question has probably been asked before. I have recently went over to TT broadband and due to the fact that my pc would not connect to TT when my cable was plugged in where it had been before - I now have a very long cable running down my hall. Which is the best wireless modem to buy and what kind of price?? Knowing myself it better to ask for help cause if i go out and buy one i would probably get the wrong one.

I have a Linksys WAG354G (UK) and it works fine on TalkTalk and it is very easy to set up. As for price just search for good deals on the Internet.

Hope this helps

Well I'll add my vote to the WAG354G.
I was a newcomer to wireless and routers and was a bit daunted by all that stuff you had to know to set it up. But the Wizard on the Cd made it all easy and it took about 5 minutes max to be up and running.
I got mine at Amazon. But as frog69 says lots of people sell it.
PS before I got it, Linksys tech support were VERY helpful and reassuring. But I never had to call again.
Good luck

I use a Belkin system that took me about 2 minutes to configure once I had my password and username. Getting that was fun tho'.
