Any Londoners here?

I am already on TT's LLU phone service in SW London, and am considering going for the Talk3 with free BB. I was wondering what experience you Londoners have had.

On the Norbury exchange, which is unbundled. Had some speed problems which was sorted by TalkTalk Boy. Overall, happy with the service.

Just to make sure im not getting mixed up, if i pay TT line rental, does that mean im on LLU?
I can dial 1280020xxxxxxxx and it rings, so does that mean im not?
If so, that means i can easily migrate away from TT, doesnt it?
If I go with the broadband, will i be put onto LLU automatically?

At the moment you are on CPS (carrier pre selection) and TT collects line rental on behalf of BT.

If you sign up for the free broadband you will go straight onto LLU which means total connection to TT equipment. You won't be able to get through anywhere dialling any override prefix. A transfer away is quite easy but you will be put on an 18 month contract with a

I'm in SE London on the Eltham exchange.

Phone calls work fine. Small problem is with Caller ID which doesn't work sometimes.
Broadband works fine. I'm actually synching faster than I ever did with PlusNet, as you can specify SNR of 7.

Ive seen this mentioned somewhere else on this forum. How do you specify your SNR?

SNR profile can be changed by calling second line support, and requesting it to be changed. That's what I did.

You can also ask them to switch interleaving off (if you so desire)
