TT are not going to look into this as the line is up and running with no problems. Totally sick of TT and their cr4p. think I have managed to get this one sorted without using tt altogether. I will be cancelling very shortly. thanks again to TT for their lack of help.

I believe now, SKY are doing their own Line Rental Service, ask them about it. I know they are phasing it in, area by area, so...give them a call !

As far as cancelling services with TalkTalk are concerned, if that was the case, you could always say it wasnt fit for purpose.

either way, i will probably have to pay for a new line or to get moved back onto BT equipment before my contract ends. like everything else, I should have stuck with what I already knew worked which was BT and not TT. I wont have any hesitation on telling friends and family about this whole episode which has been from the start till now.
