Fastpath - talktalkboy

[link to this post]

It seems it's only possible to have fastpath when on a fixed speed profile. Searching on here a 9db fastpath profile is mentioned is this still available?

Rubbish. If it's not available to you then it's because TalkTalk won't, not because they can't

That depends on your definitions.
Maybe they genuinely can't (figure out how to)

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I know it's possible to have a fastpath circuit, it's just that TalkTalk do not appear to have a fastpath profile unless you are on a fixed rate service.
I'm after a 9db snr target fastpath profile

This can't be true, I'm LLU connect at 8Mbps and am fastpath.

When I play around with settings I can sometimes connect interleaved.

I think the system automatically gives you fastpath if your SNRmargin is high enough.

Modem Status

No thanks can't be bothered with the [censored] BRAS profiles that BT inflict.
I'm quite happy with my ~60db attenuation line that syncs at 3.8 mbps in RE-ADSL2 mode, I doubt I'd be able to get that with idnet.
I always get full speed which is sync rate less overheads.

Oh yeah I forgot, it's also free
