Disconnection Issues

Hey all,

I have a friend who is with talktalk and they could be surfing the web then connection suddenly drops and then they cannot get back online till next day by time they give up.

Here are the dsl stats:

noise margin upstream: 19 db
output power downstream: 0 db
attenuation upstream: 25 db
tone 0- 31: 00 00 00 20 42 65 77 88 88 77 67 66 56 44 34 22
tone 32- 63: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
tone 64- 95: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
tone 96-127: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
tone 128-159: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0

What you guys think ? high db rating ? This has been going on for a few months now

Get your friend to call customer service.

The stats you have posted are not enough.

You need upstream and downstream attenuation, noise margin and sync or line rate.

If they dont get any luck with customer services get them to register for the members forum
