Phorm to be "opt-in" for TalkTalk

Finally someone does something right with regards to the Phorm fiasco: linkage

It's not clear how, but TalkTalk will allegedly also stop opt-out customers' details going to Phnord in the first place, so that's the other major concern gone

surely the 'right' thing to do would be to have nothing to do with phorm in the first place?!

True -- this is more making things tolerable for existing TalkTalk users, rather than a reason to actually migrate to TalkTalk

It's a shame that doing what they should have done in the first place (assuming they "had" to join Phnord) is praiseworthy, but there you go -- at least they're better than BT and Virgin
