Nuisance phone calls from TalkTalk

I get several marketing phone calls a day at home from the number 01133902102, which according to the WhoCallsMe website belongs to TalkTalk. Has anyone else here been subjected to this unwarrantable nuisance, please? I'm not a TalkTalk user, never have been, and have never contacted them. Moreover, my phone number is ex-directory, and is also listed with the Advertising Preference Scheme. This kind of behaviour on the part of a broadband provider is intolerable. Many thanks.

If you are listed with TPS - the telephone preference service - you can report the calls to them.

Unfortunately the TPS complaints service doesn't cover `silent' calls, which these are.

You can report them to Ofcom. CarPhone was fined �35,000 in January 2007 for silent calls.
