Q.O.S.

[link to this post]

Not the usual QOS but a reference to customer service on the TTMF.

I have had an ongoing problem since 13 May, I have posted all relevant facts and figures.

Of the three answers I have been given by the resident OCE's they are asking Q's for

information to which I have previously posted.

It appears that they are mentally reading from a script, rather than reading the actual post.

Now I know that someone will leap to the defence of TT, and others will condem TT to eternal network hell.

I have an open mind on this, having been previously satisfied with the BB service, but trying to obtain any info. from them is like pulling teeth.

I am locked into another 17 months of my contract, but beginning to feel that TT have reneged on it.

If anyone cares to read my original TT post, and provide some constructive comments, I would be extremely grateful.

Part of your last post in TT forum -

13 May: "Have tried another couple of routers, same result."

Although you have provided a lot of stats I assume they need to test the new router and connection themselves before they can move it over to the next department and that is why they keep asking you to leave it on.

I guess you will have to play ball even though you think it is a waste of time as its the only way you will get help.

Told ya.....TALK TALK stink !!!

[re: Brunel] [link to this post]

How many posts does it take to show TT for what they are , a cowboy builder outfit who provide shocking customer care and couldnt give a hoot that you are ripping your hair out from using their products.

All I can say is I told you so, and I have posted here before . The rose tinted specs of jack hackett give the fanboy outlook, there are many many others just like you who are going through hell with TT.

Welcome to 18 months of hell with the worst provider of "broadband" in the UK, not a nice thought is it. I got out after 5 days of 0.3mb "speed" with those clowns, you should think about getting out yourself. Your sanity will thankyou for it.

If O2 have unbundled your exchange and you can get LLU , grab it with both hands, dont even consider Access.

Coming from the resident TT hating troll and o2 number one fanboy i will take that as a compliment.

You say "Many many" having just checked there are 4.25 new pages from today in the Broadband Speed & Web Browsing forum which is just over 80 threads, of these 80 threads approximately 50% are old threads that the OP and OCE's are working through so appear as new, when you consider there are 4.2 million customers if things were as bad as you make out there would be hundreds of new threads (excluding old threads with new posts in them) every day and as anyone can see for themselves there isn't, this is not me being a fanboy simply pointing out the facts, facts you seem unable to take on board or prefer not to. wink

As you have substituted router etc this should have been diagnosed within hours. There is a remote possibility that the filtered faceplate has failed but I suspect that you are being led on a merry dance.

Filtered F.P. is perfect, not a whistle, bleep or buzz on any 'phone.

Router has been in synch. since last reboot 7 hrs ago.... but not a sign of anything else.

After a while one can begin to lose ones sanity, it starts when you have self doubts over

which spare router might just possibly, perhaps, maybe, faulty.

I am beginning to feel that TT are the opening act at the merry dancing championship.

For these "facts" to have any value at all in evaluating service levels, it would first of all be necessary to know the percentage of that 4.2M that actually use the forums to levy complaints.

So far the PPP session has dropped twice this morning, synch stayed up, had to reboot router to connect.

Twelve days, still no action.

I am waiting for one of the TTMF OCE's to give a daily reply.

I am only reporting the facts.

can you still contractually get out ? if you can, do it now as the TT internet provision has failed for you ALREADY !!

why SHOULD you have to go to someone elses pc to use the members forum because your internet doesnt work, if you phone support you might as well talk to next doors spaniel.

TT is a complete joke, fanboys (i.e jack hackett ) will tell you oh its so great , maybe HIS is ok, but there are many many customers to whom TT internet has been a complete nightmare. Do the google searches, see how this is the most complained about internet provider that even made it to BBC watchdog.......and you have to be atrocious to get that far.

If you can get out....................DO IT NOW

Unfortunately, this seems to be a very common problem. If you can sign in it may be worth posting something here but I doubt it.
Personally, I would be demanding a MAC but changing provider will present it's own difficulties if, as is likely, you are connected via TT's MPF facility.
