18 month rolling contract ( the one thing that's been constant in nearly every single one of my posts and the one thing you are refusing to acknowledge or reply to .)
18 month rolling contract , 18 month rolling contract , 18 month rolling contract , 18 month rolling contract .
Huh? Why do I have to acknowledge it to you. No-one else asks me to regurgitate their posts to confirm understanding. Come to that what
is wrong with you? Why are you continually harping on about BTi?
They aren't my preferred ISP (I've written many times that I'd have preferred him to go with Plusnet). I haven't used BTi myself for several years (the last time was back when I had Home Highway).
In short the only person here who seems to have a 'thing' for BTi is
you. Why don't you just give it a rest. If you want to keep bashing BTi then go to their forums and do it. I don't think anyone here wants to have you keep bleating on about them.
The only comment I've made is that I think their Customer Service is likely to be no worse than TT's. I suspect their internet service will not be as good. Unfortunately my Dad simply won't pay more than he absolutely has to for broadband. I can understand why given how little he uses it. Tbh he drives me mad. He'll happily wait an hour or more for the next BBC News rather than open the laptop within arms reach and surf to a news site.
But there you have it. Given how little he wants from a connection anyone will do and right now BTi are the cheapest. Or at least they are because TT won't/can't unbundle his line. The main reason I'm annoyed at TT is because their customer service has robbed him of the opportunity to get a damn good service for a price he is prepared to pay. It's like turning up at the bes restaurant in town only to be told that you can't go in because they overbooked and they are turning away regular customers in order to just serve new ones.
If TT could contact my Dad and offer to unbundle the line he would stop the migration. I'd be happy because then I'd know that when I visited them I'd have a reliable and decent connection. I don't think BTi will be a disaster but, yes, I would prefer he had TT.
