I opted IN a couple of minutes ago. It will be interesting to see how many web sites I visit are reported as dodgy.

Do be aware that from research the Homesafe sytem of malware checking has a lot of holes and there are better Free Parental control systems out there. Article on TT Homesafe system

Not at all. Each part of the service is opt-in (Kidsafe, Homework, Virus alerts), sites deemed to be "filesharing" are only blocked if you switch on the p2p blocking in the Kidsafe element. If you don't want to block these sites, don't switch it on.
