DNS Failure

Not sure these days if I am with Talk Talk or Pipex so have posted on both boards

My connection drops every so often after being stable for years.

The connectivity test show one of the DNS servers not available

Connectivity to DNS Server 1 (212.139.132.4) not available
Connectivity to DNS Server 2 (212.74.114.193) is available

Just wondering if I need to call support or can designate other DNS servers

Try changing your DNS to OpenDNS: 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220 (instead of those Tiscali DNS).

Or skip that. Don't opendns who will serve ads on mistyped urls and other such fun. Use Google's which are clear from that junk.

http://ft.trillian.im/mhisani/61YuwFxhc-S3Q0aaYIVK.jpg is opendns with adblock and i admit that URL is unlikely to match much but it is not a clean properly working DNS setup.
