I see you copied them from my forums which is out of order as you never asked my permission to take them from my site and as such I am asking you kindly to take them down from here.

Otherwise I will have no choice to ask a Mod or staff member to take tha post down, please do not make me ask them to do so

Although in the meantime I thank you for the free advertisment since you spammed the TBBF board with a link to my forum although ther is a link to it in my profile I do not and have never spammed TBBF with it, and keep within these forum rules

However they are not the Thinkbroadband rules and does not apply here

Here are the thinkbroadband rules are accessible via the thinkbradbands FAQ page

What are the rules?

Registration as a User implies acceptance of the following rules:

Introduction

These rules apply to all users of the thinkbroadband forums. They are only guidelines that moderators use to ensure that our forums are an enjoyable place to be. We ultimately reserve the right to decide what is acceptable or not and working around the technicalities of rules may not be tolerated by moderators.

These rules apply to public posts, private messages, signatures, profiles and any other comments you make on our forums.

If you have any questions over issues, please e-mail [email protected]

Advertising

We do not allow users to post advertisements or commercial solicitations on our forums. This includes touting one's own equipment for sale. Advertisers wishing to take advantage of our site are welcome to contact us for banner ads. However, we do not have a problem with users posting links to their web sites in signatures, or posts provided their posts are materially useful and are not simply seeking to promote their products (e.g. recommending themselves for every query). Generally we are less tolerant of posters who do have commercial signatures when it comes to what is and is not abuse. We are less strict on ISPs posting in their own forums. Note that the restriction on advertising includes linking to schemes where you receive a commission or benefit of some kind from a user signing up.

Cross Posting

We do not allow 'cross posting' where a user posts the same text in more than one forum. This wastes resources as forum users have to read posts twice. It is possible for a post to be relevant to more than one forum, but you should only post it in another if you have no success in the first.

Off Topic Posts (OT)

It is inevitable that threads in forums can veer off course from the original topic. We would strongly recommend posters to change the 'subject' field when this happens, although eventually this may be beyond the scope of the forum. In these cases, you should start a new thread in the appropriate forum and post a link in the original thread.

Use of Colours and Markup

We provide you with some options to allow you to use colour and markup (e.g. highlighting) in your posts. You must ensure you use this constructively and sensibly. For example. Highlighting your entire post to grab attention would be seen as abuse.

Inappropriate or Offensive Language

thinkbroadband is a friendly environment and to this end we do not accept foul language. We employ an automatic filter to cut out some bad language but this does not stop users from trying to get around the filters. Doing so will result in action against the user(s). It is not our goal to vet every link or post and it is not acceptable to make excuses such as "if a moderator feels this is inappropriate, please remove" and these will simply be treated as posters knowingly breaking rules.

Although we do not claim the forums to be child-safe we do not want to get a reputation for foul language, etc. As such we do not want to have links to adult material. Obviously we do not accept racist comments. There is a fine line with what one person considers offensive and another considers everyday language so discretion is advised.

Defamatory or Libellous Remarks

thinkbroadband does not wish to discourage negative comments about particular service providers or other companies, but it is not acceptable to make defamatory or libellous statements. Anyone who believes they are the subject of such remarks should e-mail [email protected]

Proprietary and Illegal Content

You may not post proprietary content or links to sites which distribute or promote the distribution of illegal material or otherwise encourage breaking the law.

Impersonation and Multiple Identities

Using multiple identities/logins in order to mislead other users is prohibited. This includes posting as anonymous users when such posts could be considered to be from different people. ISP staff should not pretend to be users of the service to encourage others to subscribe. Such behaviour will be considered serious breaches.

Posting personal details

You may not post home addresses, personal phone numbers, mobile phone numbers or other personal information about a company's officers or employees even if this information is in the public domain elsewhere (e.g. the whois database). We do not want to be in a position of hosting this content.

PM Spamming

The private message system is only intended as a way for you to contact individual users and not as a group mailing system.

Complaints Procedure

On occasion, you may disagree with a decision made by a moderator in the course of their duties on the forums. If you do not accept the reasoning behind their action and you wish to complain, you should email [email protected] with full details of your complaint including any links to relevant posts. You should link using the "link to this post" URL that is visible in the headers so that specific posts in flat mode can be linked to without ambiguity or problems (flat more links can change if there are many new posts resulting in multiple pages).

If we receive an e-mail from you, we will look into the case, take any appropriate action and reply to you directly.

The use of the thinkbroadband website is also subject to our terms and conditions available on main site.

No offence and since you are not staff etc

I will await a member of TBB staff to inform me if I need to take it down or not as I never stole it and took it to any other site and just made it a bit more accessible via this thread to help prevent R.S.I

Can I suggest if you want to post you summarise the actual problem so that people can help or at least understand your complaint.

A website not responding to a ping is not a fault, but usually a configuration choice made by someone above the pay grade of who answer the support forums/lines.

To be totally honest I am not surprised that TalkTalk support are appearing to contradict themselves as it is near impossible to see what the problem is, and several of the issues you have raised are non issues anyway.
