Parson Drove exchange has been LLU enabled by Talk Talk. As an FYI, Talk Talk will not offer TV service on non-LLU exchanges

Just as an update I'm staying with PlusNet who despite me being on a Market 1 exchange have cut me a very good deal in return for a 24 month contract which is comparable to TalkTalk - worth bearing in mind if anyone is considering jumping ship.

But surely Talktalk LLU (up to 24 meg) can potentially give you higher speeds than a plusnet adsl max (up to 8 meg) service AND probably be cheaper? I'm paying TT a fiver a month for broadband and anytime calls (+value line rental), very much doubt that plusnet could match that for an inferior service on my non 21CN exchange.

The exchange has just been upgraded to WBC so I've been moved onto ADSL2+ so linespeed wise I'm the same as TalkTalk.

The deal I got was £5.99 a month for broadband and evening and weekend calls (+value line rental) which I'm pretty happy with as I don't use the phone much during the day. Plusnet also allow you to continue to use indirect access companies such as 18185 which is useful for cheap international calls.

The equivalent deals I was offered with TalkTalk were £2.50 + expensive calls (SimplyBroadband) or £8.00 per month for broadband and anytime calls. I wasn't offered any other deals by TT.

The migration from PlusNet to TalkTalk LLU would have been fairly significant at £60 (£30 to disconnect from BT and £30 to connect to TalkTalk LLU equipment) so I think on balance I'm pretty happy.

I must also say that I wasn't convinced by the TT Customer Service experience - even when dealing online using the forums I didn't think they were anywhere near as good as PN.
