I have a Panasonic plasma TV ( 8 years old) which develops an issue every few months which manifests itself as very slow remote response. A full system reset relieves the issue for another few months.

I was told by an engineer that it has something to do with the AV circuit connected to the Sky+ box.

Was Eclipse Home Option 1, VM 2Mb & O2 Standard
Now Utility Warehouse (up to 16mbps) via Talk Talk

went for a 2nd hand Humax Fox2 in the end which was £31 after a £10 ebay voucher. Does the job well.
