Peak time speedtest

I am currently with plusnet but getting some poor single threaded download speeds at peak times 8-10pm weekdays.

I wondered if anyone could do some TBB speedtests and post the results here?

A bit after 10pm, but it's no different between 8 and 10.

My speeds are like this anytime:

Speed Test

Syncing at 39994/2000. Even off-peak no better, not that impressed with fibre so far.

Is that speedtest done using wifi?

Yes, I use my PC upstairs and prefer WiFI as the only phone socket is by the front door downstairs where my router stays.

I just tried with a one metre ethernet cable though, on my laptop instead.

I don't really see what the perceived problem is. It seems to be running at 32Mpbs on a max sync of 40 Mbps.

Between 8 and 10pm this time, 16.4 meg synch. Looking good: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results.html...
