Fed up with the standard router so want to buy my own.

Can this be done, is it easy?

Yes it can and as far as i know its easy to do, have a look in the TT community forum as plenty have done it.

I recently exchanged a faulty HG633 for the D-Link 3782 and my speeds etc are much better it may be worth telling them you are having problems and ask for one so you can test it - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Fibre-Broadband/...

If you are determined to go third party this gets plenty of good reviews - http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/networking/ds...

Like new one here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NETGEAR-D7000-1900-Mbps-1...

This bit worries me which means you can get rid of all the kit ISPs deliver unless youre on fibre broadband.

All up and running (after a fashion) and seems to be working fine. Got it for the gig lan ports but seems to connect at a higher rate too.

Thanks for your help smile
