Well, I don't think it is TalkTalk that's the fault. Because I get 80/20 at all times.

These are the speed tests I did just now.
Try a speed test via
https://librespeed.org or
https://speedof.me they always give me 80/20 Mbps consistently.
Make sure your router stats is connected to 80/20 and that the connection isn't dropping out. If the System Uptime is resetting then the fault may be in the router and not TalkTalk.
If the connection is dropping out due to noise margin issues then the fault is in your line or at the cabinet. DLM will try to reduce the speeds to maintain a stable connection. Don't turn off your router on and off as that will trigger DLM to reduce your speeds. Leave it always on and any speed reductions should correct themselves and eventually your connection should stabilize.
Also router stats is a more important indicator of speed and best used with Cat 5/6/7 Ethernet cables. If people rely on wireless speed tests they won't know the max potential speed. The router may show 80/20 but the wifi can give them inconsistent speeds and then they blame the ISP.
