Unlike FTTC would normally expect to see the speeds slightly higher than package speed, say 152/32, but that's just nitpicking as you wouldn't notice the differance.

TBH i never checked the advertised upload speed so did wonder why there was such a huge difference when i did my first speed test, having checked i can see its close enough wink

TalkTalk Fibre 150

Average download speed
152Mbps

Average upload speed
30Mbps

FTTP 37ms ping? Thought Openreach FTTP ping always get 8ms or less? I use to have G.fast 160/30 then 330/50 as both are less than 10ms ping!

Then you thought wrongly.

The main factor is where you live. If you're in Scotland or NI then you can easily see 15ms+ ping to London.

Light in glass travels at approximately 2/3c, or about 200,000km/s. Since we're measuring round-trip times that works out at about 1ms for every 100km. But that's just the fibre propagation; it doesn't include intervening electrical devices, or that the fibre path is not in a straight line.

In this case, the poster said they are doing tests over wifi which could also add substantial latency.

This is a different speed test i regularly use - 10ms ping

A heads up if you switch to the eero router have a Freesat set top box and see Commscope in the connected devices list in the eero app.
