IP profile for your line is - 250 kbps

The answer was in he question - for some reason you have a low BRAS profile setting. This may have arisen from a low sync speed in the last 3 days, or may be a SNAFU.

You mission, should you accept, is to get them to fix it

after all yesterday afternoon on the phone i believe my previous post about reactivating the broadband is actually correct, I had a billing problem on 6/09 so I called them and they sorted it out no problem but it appears instead of crediting my account the amount owed they restarted by broadband contract for another 12 months to give me the discount so all the test they run in the first 14 days that slows everything down have been started again, The other thing I was told is that there is a slow through put on the line and if it doesn

that doesn't happen, its a myth. If anything the line runs at its fastest speed initially and slows down thereafter.

how would they fix the low bras profile, is it worth me visiting the exchange and having a word with one of the engineers.

your ISP would ask BT Wholesale to fix it. It isn't in your exchange.
