Upwards SNR spikes

Tonight I've noticed 2 Rx SNR spikes upwards from 4.5db to 22db, one at 22:33 and another at 23.40

No storms around here, no rain, in fact it's 21C outside at the moment here.
No events tie in with those times.

Any ideas what it might be?

The only thing that comes to mind is that it's been fairly windy, but it's been windy all day and these are the only times toay this has happened

Storms and other similar effects would normally be expected to reduce the SNR, not increase it. Perhaps your line has a bad connection somewhere, and this temporarily repaired itself a couple of times for some reason?

Yes, there is quite a bit of noise on my line and I regularly see downward spikes between 0.5db and 3db throughout the day.
I've speed the SNR spike upwards upon sync / re-sync with the exchange, but not like this where there appeared to be nothing untoward going on.
As you say, probably just some temporary glitch on the line.

I get big upward spikes on a saturday or sunday evening, every week, an increase of usually 8-10dB. Will last for a few minutes to several hours.
