Sync rate

Could somebody please tell me where i can find my sync rate and before I get too excited, what bras is/are??

What type of hardware would be useful eg USB modem model or router type.

I'm using a netgear DG384PN (the mimi wireless one) and I'm on Eclipse evolution 1 up to 8mb.

Many Netge*rs will show line stats via the web based interface screen, usually reached via a browser and the address http://192.168.0.1 yours may be different ? Once here have a hunt around.
The BRAS profile is set by a remote line monitoring tool, it 'sees' what sync rate you have, and if all is stable at that it rounds the figure down, this then sets the maximum throughput. Find a post by 'Yarwell' he has some good links on the subject in his signature ( much better explained )
