I am seeing more RX CRC errors - no TX CRC errors - than with the TG585 but it is only ~ 25 in a 24 hour period (on average)
This does not cause any problems as far as I can detect.
I had the occassional RX CRC error with the TG585
I understand (from trawling around numerous sites) that Infineon had bought out Texas Instruments and that the 2710 series has a Infineon Amazon chipset, which is a variation on the Texas Instrument AR7 chipset.
I have no confirmation of the 2710 chipset manufacturer as yet from DrayTek, but I have asked the question of their support team.
Still synching at 8128 SNR 12dB
I've had a reply from Draytek support re 2710 series chipset.
I am sorry, we don't offer this kind of information for users. Duh!
I then asked why the secrecy regarding information that is generally available with many other brands of router.
This decision is for business concern, sorry.
I wonder if I had MI5 level clearance would they give me the information
