Just wondering about the jumpering for a dsl circuit in the green cab if there is a faulty port in the cab.
So lets say the copper pair enters the e-side of the cab from the BT exchange. If the port in the e-side is faulty, but the port in the d-side is okay, would the Openreach engineer simply take out the jumper wire from the e-side and place it into a spare e-side port? Whilst leaving the d-side jumpering the same?
