xte-2005 wiring

[link to this post]

Soon to install an xte-2005 faceplate over the master socket. Im running cat5 behind the walls and would like to connect a length of cat5 to the rear of the faceplate and terminate the other end in a patch panel, then connect the routers dsl port to the panel with a rj11-rj45 cable.

Q) What two pins on the xte-2005 do i use to acheive this?

Q) Im running 8Mbs with UKO the now (current speedtest), looking to get 24Mbs in January - will the xte-2005 handle that or should I be looking at another filtered faceplate?

Any info/help appreciated thanks.

its a low pass filter so the extra frequencies of ADSL2+ in general are blocked just like the lower frequencies of G.dmt ADSL - I see no issues.

MaxDSL user survey - results back online.

MaxDSL speeds - what do they all mean.
