[link to this post]

Hi, this is my line stats, when i'm talking on the phone, my SNR (down) spikes up to a ridiculous number like 23352232db then it turns to 1db after a while, does that mean I have a faulty filter?

Upstream Rate: 288 Kbps
Downstream Margin: 11 db <-------
Upstream Margin: 28 db

yes, if the phone affects the broadband the filtering is probably inadequate. Try a better one, or two in series. Also try a different phone. If it occurs with any phone and despite double filtering it might be a line fault. Your downstream margin isn't fantastic to start with, and you're outside the attenuation limit for 2M so complaining may have unintended consequences.
