stuck bras profile

right to cut a long story short guys..currently with pipex..have been for last nine month..to start with i had 3 months of [censored] speeds then a engineer came out and said everything was fine..30 mins after he left bang up to speed....he later phoned me to say that bt had capped my speed for sum reason....over the next 6 months everythin was fine..gettin constant 700-800kb/s no problems....3 weeks ago speeds back down to 16-50kb/s and after numnerous phone calls to pipex bt reckon theres no fault...basically i know they have capped my profile its exactly wot they done beforehand..question is..how do i get bt to unstick my profile so i can go back to gettin my normal speeds again...thx in advance

You should try the BT speedtest and find out what your profile is before jumping to any conclusions. If it has been reeduced then it would be a reason and should right itself if the sync speeds return and remain stable.

i did and it said max thouroughput is 3000k used to be 6000k...doesnt that mean its been capped at a lower speed

What sync speed and is stable throughtout the day?
If it is stuck your ISP should raise it with BT wholesale to reset the profile

dont know if that helps but this is quite consistant

If it is worse, it will be worse as darkness falls (about 7PM this time of year)

If you are synching at that speed then the Bras should pop back up in no time to be honest

yer but 2 weeks isnt no time is it?? b.t have capped it at that..they done it to me 6 month ago
