Slow Speed from Talk Talk

Hi I am a new member to thinkbroadband so hello everyone,

i currently have a broadband connection with Opal aka Talk Talk but my broadband speed is to be frank pants, im on a 24Mb QoS profile can only sync @ 3554Kbps down and 809Kbps Up. but whenever im downloading or doing a speed test i cannot go above 600k,

do you think it would be my setup or is opal/talk really this bad?

3554k sync = 3400 speed test = 425 kbytes/s download approx.

Go to a tweak test site like http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks to see what your MTU and RWIN values are in practice.

Your RWIN value might limit your effective speed on a Windows XP or earlier PC.
