HELP! BT connection is maxing out at 15kps

Hi,

This is my last resort, Ive had a BT connection for a year now and have tried to get help from various helpline numbers!

My connection runs at a max of 15kps and when I look at the router stats I have 1000's of errors! If I ping -t www.bt.co.uk ever 6th or 7th ping times out. Seems I can get any help from the India call centres do this is my last resort to try and get something sorted! I'm even posting now via my phone as the connection is so slow I can't open the forum!

Any help would be gratefully recieved as Im pulling my hair out!!!

Something seriously wrong with that router

Or the telephone line.

Has the original poster tried using the test socket at the master socket in the property (remove the lower part of the master socket to reveal the test socket)
