Disagree, your attenuation is the problem.

our initial check on your postcode

the postcode checker is the least reliable, number checker then address checker in order of accuracy.

You know from the attenuation stats that your line is a bit odd for the area.

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

Are your kids pirates ? Limewire, Bearshare, Kazaa, BitTorrent, eMule are all tools of the trade.

Data Path Fast
Operation Mode G.dmt
Bandwidth Down/Up(kbps) 736 / 416
SNR Margin Down/Up(dB) 6.0 / 6.0
Attenuation Down/Up(dB) 63.5 / 31.5

can you do interleaved ADSL2 / 2+ at 6dB margin ? the above is at least faster than the one below :-

Data Path Interleaved
Operation Mode ADSL2+
Bandwidth Down/Up(kbps) 632 / 295 / 0.52 Mbps 0.16 Mbps /
SNR Margin Down/Up(dB) 8.2 / 11.5
Attenuation Down/Up(dB) 73.0 / 42.5
