Authentication Issues

[link to this post]

Seem to be suffering from connection authentication issues currently.
Is anyone else having difficulties within the 0118 area?

ISP is Zen Internet but also fails to authenticate using the bt_test@startup_domain login

have tried turning off the router for 30min etc

no luck!

No, but I'm on an LLU ISP in Reading.

Poor thing, not being on LLU. frown

Is the router sync OK? i.e. at it's usual rate?

and is it steady?

what make/model is the router?

Sync is fine, at the usual rate and steady, just no authentication taking place.

Was wondering if it was a "stale session" and have left the router off for nearly an hour.
Turned the router back on and still won't connect (with ISP username/password).

The router is a Speedtouch 510v4

Cheers.

Have you tried another router?

Also incorrectly set MTU can sometimes affect authentication.
