Were with O2 broadband 2 years ago and had a great connection before the congestion issues started.
Speeds of 8meg and pings of 40-50ms.
Since then we have migrated to Titan and now Vivaciti but have never had the same stats.
I done a bt speedtest
Download Speed
3876 Kbps
0 Kbps 7150 Kbps
Max Achievable Speed
Download speedachieved during the test was - 3876 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :8064 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 5500 Kbps
I have previously attained speeds of 6900 Kps when with O2 Access. The IP profile was also higher (7150 I think).
I reset the router and here are the router stats;
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
WAN PPPoA 31177 20593 0 4527 6281 00:17:30
LAN 10M/100M 12596 22982 0 2126 3056 00:17:55
WLAN 11M/54M/130M 10890 10010 0 5193 2073 00:17:44
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7712 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 7.0 db 3.0 db
Noise Margin 12.0 db 23.0 db
at the minute the speedtest.net results are coming up at about 1meg and web browsing is noticably slow.
These results are both with the router connected to the test socket.
I have no idea how to interpret them. Can we improve on speed and latency again?
