Java being blocked pls help

[link to this post]

as i mentioned my java is not working as it should. on speedtesting url's such as think broadbands and the btspeedtester site i get a message that reads

"error click for details" when i click it says "the application failed to run, there was an error while executing the application"

when i first install the latest version and run it, everything is ok, but as soon as i close firefox and restart it java is blocked, i have disabled all my add-ons and stopped my firewall but this does not change the errors. os is vista 64 home pre, service pack 2.

here is the java console;

Uninstall Jave and manually delete all leftover folders and files. Run CCleaner's cleaner and registry sections until there's nothing left to clean.
Scan the system with MBAM and SAS from Safe Mode.
Reinstall Java and test.

Try running chkdsk /r preferably from a boot CD.
If that's OK, reboot and run a full virus scan from Trend Online.

Try to remove Java using Revo Uninstaller. Use the advanced option, make sure you double-check what Revo has detected as Java related and that it isn't deleting other sorts of files.
