Another half xbox problem

ok so xbox was working fine yay fun fun...

then for some reaosn the other day i had to reset router back to factory settings now i have a strict nat i have tryed all the infos i could find on the net with no luck not a complete novice at this but not best either.

So after having an indepth explore round the router i noticed the time is an hour slow and i cannot change it doesnt seem to be any option anywhere to change the config but would this purhaps make a difference to this problem?

also the superuser telnet doesnt seem to work for me says invalid name / pass has it changed?

yes you guessed it am on a [censored] o2 ST 585v7

i have a netgear router somwhere with dd-wrt on it, am i able to use that as a last resort

Most Speedtouches are the same menus so that should work

EDIT: In fact the o2 wireless box is also listed on that page, try that as well

not overly helpful, basically says make sure you leave eveything as it is and it will be fine... clearly it isnt wish it was that simple

Are you running the latest firmware on your router? That website comes well recommend by many so I'd say there advice is pretty sound and something else must be wrong, try contacting them for more advice.

If you have had to reset the router back to factory settings then you will have to enter the information given to you from your ISP again.

Login and Password..............

You might have done this already but sometimes its easily overlooked.
