So about 2 Meg it seems. Strange for a profile of 17Mbps and 17.5 attenuation. That's almost half my attenuation and I get 6 Meg.

I doubt a once a day will affect the profile too much. You might see your ping speeds move about a bit.

Don't you hate it that you can't disable sigs? Ha Ha!

Thanks smile

Yeah it's very low. I was easily hitting 14 mbits not long ago. The only other change which happened was a target snr reset from 9db to 6db. HOwever because sync is very high and not disconnecting I can't think that's the problem.

Have now gone to old home hub router - same as new but keeps throwing the wireless devices off - and still horrifically low test results, under 1 mbits now.

Right- sync speeds etc are stil awesome, however throughput is horrific. Upstream is over a mbit. Downstream is between 300kbits and about 600, not getting anywhere near 1mbit. This looks like screaming contention - and there's no way I'm going to try and do customer service with this, it will get nowhere other than a restart of the training period when the line seems stable. And is it possible to break contract with hopeless line speed like this? I fancy going to someone with English customer service - recommendations welcomed!

Oh - and now speedtesting at 2.5 mbit. I'm having some late gaming - what's the betting we're back up to 16 mbits in a couple of hours?

Hey guys.

OK - progress - the Indian call centre tell me after looking throught my line conditions that the issue is with the exchange - they've had loads of calls - and an engineer is looking at it. She's calling me back tomorrow eve to see if its resolved, so I'll look then. So anyone else on BT in this immediate area this may be your problem too smile
