Cisco 877 and LLU question

Hi all,

Does anyone know however a Cisco 877 router will perform on LLU (namely C&W) with regards to stability on ADSL2+?

At the moment I am on ADSL2+ with Zen (BT WBC) and the Cisco 877 will not hold a connection for long (Cisco have released a firmware patch, but this has given mixed results from the users). As a result I have a Draytek 120 modem handling the sync.

I'm about to jump ship to Xilo Pro 16 which uses C&W LLU and was wondering if this will be any better with the Cisco.

Have 1801 which is the same chipset as the 877 and it had it working ok on Sky LLU and O2 LLU, syncs a few meg lower than other hardware though so do the same and have a speedtouch in bridge mode handling the connection.

ive got an 877w on O2 LLU, i get around 1.5Mb lower sync compared to speedtouch, but more stable. I tweaked my noise margin to -1 and achieved (0.5Mb less) similar speeds to the speedtouch

i also found FW Version 4.0.17 to be better for me, hope that helps
