Aol router problem

I had a wired router bt voyager 190 adsl and a belkin router wireless both worked fine and then
Yesterday they both suddenly wouldn't connect to aol no adsl light! I contacted aol
Tech support they said my routers will no longer work with aol,both have been fine for last 3 years
Is this correct? Has I have had to order a new router from them

Possibly moved you from one network to another, and now using ADSL2+ which may confuse older routers, which did not support ADSL2+. In theory exchange should drop back to ADSL mode, but some modems don't handle this negotiation very well.

Then surely AOL should have supplied a new compatible router.

The BT Voyager 190 router was provided exclusively to customers of AOL and is not supported by BT.

Question is how much have they charged? If 4.95 I would call that postage

I did the test on the bt router like someone said it didnt come up with any figures
It said "BBLINEDOWN" so is this a line fault with bt and nothing to do with aol
Or the routers??
