Mcafee is being over cautious

It's fine with norton and loads the pictures nicely

http://i48.tinypic.com/29zps8k.jpg - I took the faceplate off from the scoket THAT ONLY WORKS!! from the house. Nothing seems to be connected like no wires to numbers etc.

If one day you connect up any extensions to the idc connectors shown here: http://i48.tinypic.com/29zps8k.jpg ,you would remove the faceplate and use the test socket to troubleshoot as necessary.

But at the moment, it's just information only.

I want to know if my extensions work not test. This socket does work so why would I need to test it?

To get your extensions to work, they need to connect to the idc connectors.
