Is it possible to still connect at the full 24mbps with annex m giving a faster upload of 2.5mbps?

Yes as long as you have a really short line.

I thought as much.

Now to find out if i can get onto Annex M with TT.. 2mb or more upload will come in very handy indeed

TT don't provide Annex M (upload +) their upto 2mbit product will be fttc vdsl
Unless you are referring to TT Buisness

Yes... I have this on their equipment and get full downstream with Annex M.

Correct in the sense of TT Retail, but their business side, and resellers can do ADSL2+ Annex M

The key being the resellers

im actually surprised at that as the extra upload is gained from a shift in the frequency split, meaning downstream has less available bandwidth regardless of line length - ive heard that 24,000k is just a set limit, ive seen adsl2+ sync rates of 27,000k so this must be related, such a good SNR on a really short line must still provide enough bits over the available ANNEX-M range of tones to provide a 24k sync still.
