Re: Profile stuck?

[re: RobertoS] [link to this post]

My IP profile has been reset to 7.15 following a SNR reset at 00:28 on Sunday (2014-11-02).

Although I was advised that the IP profile would be effective within 24 hours, it seems to have taken more than 48 hours, as the BT speedtest was showing my IP profile still at 2.5 at approx 23:00 on 2014-11-03.

Whatever you have been told is rubbish, as it clearly hasn't.

There is probably confusion at most ISPs, in that a DLM reset is I believe called an SNR(M) reset.

That aside, my view is that the reset was ordered at the time you give, but I don't think it is a real-time action. I think it requires action by BT Wholesale to make it happen. The forecast of taking 24 hours bears that out.

There shouldn't be any issue with it unless it is refused because the connection speed is/was not suffering from an SNRM problem.

With luck it will happen tonight. If it doesn't you need to contact them again.
