Drop out help please

Hi all. Every evening at exactly the samde time (to the second) my internet drops, I then have a connection to the exchange but no internet. I'm on Plusnet using hub one, but I also tried bthub5 exactly the same problem.
After wards the link is very very slow. here is a router exampl

Heating coming on? Yours or maybe the neighbours?

Or a timer on another piece of electrical equipment in your house, a neighbours, or in the stree.


What are your SNR and speed stats like just before, just after and maybe 5 minutes after. Is there a second time when everything reverts to normal, and is that te same time every day?

c/h heating not on and neighbours is empty. No other timers especially that precise to the second every day. Seems there is a following event in the early hours too.

Not sure why it shows user request to terminat??

Could still be something in the neighbouring property. Hot water on a timer? They are accurate and would be within a fraction of a second day to day

You could try, however, it is possible it is being picked up on the line outside your house.

if it is do I report it? to plusnet?

I have much the same issue ongoing at the moment. If you google "PPP LCP Send Termination Request [User request]" you'll find dozens of instances going back to about 2014 involving the HH5/Plus Net Home Hub in the BT Community and PlusNet forums.

It could be something switching on somewhere but very difficult to diagnose.

So what time is it dropping? Your first post shows a log at 19:22 of a successful TR069 session used by Plusnet to access the router for configuration changes such as username/password details or firmware updates.
There is no loss of connection shown there, the other log shows a drop at 01:22 with the notorious "PPP LCP Send Termination Request [User request]" which I have asked Plusnet to explain in the past because we all know it isn't a User request, just the modem/router deciding to drop off. I have never had any sensible response to why this totally meaningless message is generated.

I have seen this time related problem reported on the Plusnet forums and one thing that may be worth checking is that the router has the correct user name and password set up i.e. "yourusername @plusdsl.net" and not the default "setup......" version which causes strange things to happen. like no connection or very slow speeds.

it is dropping out at exactly the same time every evening. furthermore once reconected, although the blue light is on there is no internet connection. all login details are correct.
Do you think a totally different independent router might help?
