Thanks for all the replies. So I guess its worth persevering with a fault with BT.

Other than Starlink which isn't available yet, this rubbish 25M connection is the best option I have!

Just on the border of 5G - with an external antenna I could probably get a decent signal but its finding a plan which would have enough data for a family of four with a couple of businesses, three doing home studying and then all the leisure stuff on top of that.

I had thought of a 5G setup but couldn't see anything when I looked which was reasonably priced.

If the signals OK, can’t you slum it with 4G ?

4G isn't fat enough or reliable enough round here to be used for this. I've done some tests with a 5G modem but its patchy enough to make it unreliable on just one machine. When the connection is good, its brilliant, but speed goes up and down, presumably as we're just on the edge of coverage.
