Modem Hangup Issue with Router

[link to this post]

I have an Asus Mesh system (ASUS ZenWiFi AX) that is connected to my wall socket via a BT Openreach modem. The router stops working intermittently for approximately a minute several times a times a day, this has been going on for some 6 weeks.. I have been working with Asus and after several attempts to troubleshoot they replaced the routers, however the issue remains. On the logs I get the message below. Could the issue be with the Openreach modem, and if so can I troubleshoot? I don't think the modem is available any longer, is there an alternative modem I can buy or an inexpensive modem/router that can act as a bridge?

Thanks in advance.
