How long had it been in sync for at that point ?

About 3 and a half days.

OK , so not so bad then.

What is the issue you are facing ?

Looks decent to me. Fewer people are getting the full 80/20 these days due to increasing amounts of crosstalk caused by more people signing up to FTTC.

If you leave it long enough and the line quality is good enough, DLM may decide to set a 3dB SNR target, and your speeds will drift up a bit.

Looks good from the limited stats.

You seem to be on an ECI cabinet (no Retx enabled at all which is the default for the downstream on Huawei cabinets).
The line is running fastpath, so no interleaving, no FEC error correction. That means no added delay/latency, good for gaming/VOIP and other latency sensitive things.

The ES (Error Seconds) look good on the downstream for 3+ days of sync.
The upstream is usually pretty clear of ES and usually much lower than downstream but some modems (Drayteks) don't reset upstream error data. Also every line is different and you may just have a noisy upstream. It's nothing of concern.

You're likely fairly close to the cabinet. 6dB is as low as the SNRM will go on an ECI cabinet so the line is unlikely to go faster unless neighbours give up their FTTC and crosstalk reduces.

A belated thanks for the replies - I'd forgotten about my post.

I changed providers about 5/6 weeks ago, and had a lot of problems with disconnects. As the ISP told me there was no problem with the line, I changed router. Everything was fine for a while, but now having the problem again.

My Broadband Ping

The ISP is still telling me it's still a problem with my router

Is it crosstalk that stops me from reaching the Attainable Rate? I'm using a Draytek 167 modem.

The attainable rate is a value calculated by some unknown algorithm in the modem firmware trying to guess the maximum possible speed, very often it is not a real achievable speed as in your case the maximum sync is 80 Mbps. My modem at the moment shows a max attainable of around 75Mbps and I sync at full 80/20 speeds so it isn't a reliable figure and best ignored.

Your main problem is being on an ECI cab which as we know are not very good, too put it mildlyfrown

The attainable rate is calculated incorrectly when interleaving is enabled.
It's always exaggerated in such scenarios.
